Age Takes Centre Stage Festival Launch in the Bath House
at Segedunum this year with the Silver Threads Singing and the Shuggies performing and lots of activities and displays
all day. |

for a surfing lesson – and had a fantastic time in the sea. |

the morning challenge was very popular and a friendly competition |

Festival Church Service. |

| The Wallsend Tea Dance was a friendly place for everyone to have a go. |

| The talk by Ventriloquist Ward Allen (and Roger the Dog) went down very well. |

| The Festival Tea Dance was a right royal occasion – celebrating Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s diamond wedding. |

Grandparents and Grandchildren enjoyed the
Family Steam Day at Stephenson Museum – with the highlight ‘Silver Pans’ a steel band of over 50s from The Sage Gateshead

| There were free visits to St Mary’s Lighthouse and refreshments at the Light Bites after climbing to the top |

The festival ended with a fabulous celebration – the
Last Night of the Proms at the Wallsend Memorial Hall.
