Age Takes Centre Stage 2007

In October 2007 local older people’s groups in partnership with North Tyneside Council promoted a very successful twelfth Age Takes Centre Stage festival for people over 50 in North Tyneside. 

There were many memorable events this year – from the Festival Launch with a roman theme at Segedunum, to the fabulous Last Night of the Proms at Wallsend Memorial Hall. Read the festival report and have a look at our photo gallery for a taste of what a good time people had this year.
